Established in 2017. Learning, growing, and expanding.
Aloha e na hoa makamaka. Eia no o Kou Piko. It began in 2017 as a sugar scrub business and has had steady growth since. I was working in the loʻi and sought out a sustainable and feel good way to clean up at the end of the day. I crafted numerous recipes including ʻŌlena-lena Boom Boom and Lemongrass & Olive Oil. While I still offer those two, I have grown into crafting many more ʻāina based products and mea hoʻonani that celebrates our native flora. I began this business to help those who celebrate aloha ʻāina in all the little things. From celebrating native plants & medicine practices, to those who seek easier ways to spend time with ʻāina. It is at the forefront for us all kānaka maoli to strengthen the pilina we have with the land that surrounds us and how we can sustainably mālama all that she offers. Kou Piko is here to help with every step and allow us to remember the importance of ʻāina in our past, present, and future as our piko remind us every day... alignment with ʻāina.
